Redcliffe is an established peninsula suburb where most new homes are knockdown rebuilds on older blocks, often a short walk from the water. We have completed a number of homes here and on the surrounding peninsula suburbs, and our display home is ten minutes away in Newport.
The Redcliffe Peninsula, taking in Redcliffe, Margate, Woody Point, Clontarf, Kippa-Ring and Scarborough, was largely built out decades ago. That means the typical new-home project here is a knockdown rebuild: demolishing a tired post-war house and replacing it with a modern home on a block that is already close to the beach, schools and the Kippa-Ring rail line. These blocks are often generous in size but can be irregular, sloping or narrow at the street, and existing services and neighbouring buildings need to be worked around.
We manage the whole process, including demolition, council approvals, siting and any retaining or drainage work the block needs. Our designs adapt to the block rather than the other way round, so a plan like the Titan or Quintin can be widened for a big corner lot, or a narrow-lot double storey like the Expresso series can fit a 7.5 metre frontage. The price we quote is complete, with quality inclusions as standard, so there are no surprises once the old house comes down.
If you own a block on the peninsula or are looking at one, the easiest first step is a chat about what will fit and what it will cost. Then come and see the standard we build to at the Newport display home.
Send us your block details and the design you like. We will come back with an honest view of what fits and a complete price, usually the same business day.
